Unique varieties in high quality

The license-produced finished plants are sold through brokers to wholesalers and detailister in several countries. Our roses and clematis are therefore at good garden centers and grocery stores all over the world.

The finished roses and clematis reflect Poulsen Rosers desire for beauty and fragrance. It is our goal to new varieties are introduced to the market if they meet our strict requirements for health, hardiness and durability.

It is also a requirement that all roses must be continuously flourishing - it means that they only bloom one time a year (as many roses else does), but puts flowers again and again during the season. Our roses typically have a longer flowering period than other roses - they start earlier and continue right up until frost sets in.

Collections

We have divided our roses and clematis into Rose collections and Clematis collections. The varieties in these collections have more or less the same properties in terms of height, flower type and character. As we continuously work on enhancing our varieties, we present the very best varieties, which are produced in big numbers, as our Main Varieties. Varieties which are produced in smaller numbers are called Historical Poulsen Roses or Clematis.

If you wish only to produce the absolute best varieties, you should choose our Main Varieties.
